Welcome to our web page...

We encourage you to browse through our pages and know this York, Pennsylvania Australian Shepherd Breeder, has led you to all the credentials you are looking for to help educate you in any and all aspects of Australian Shepherd ownership and one who will be available to you for the entire life of the newest Australian Shepherd member of your family.

Why do we not have an Australian Shepherd puppy buyer questionnaire as opposed to other sites you may have visited?  We want to get to know you on a "personal" basis by speaking with you on the phone and arranging a visit to our home, not through questions and answers on a piece of paper.  We believe that questionnaires are impersonal.  A reputable breeder should always take the time to respond to your questions.  If a breeder does not have the time to answer your questions, or a website states that if someone doesn't get back to you, to just assume there are no puppies available, you may think twice if that is the type of breeder you want to have a with you for the life of your Australian Shepherd  puppy. Some websites mention and warns prospective buyers that a breeder that does not allow the buyer to interact with a dam or puppies of 3+ weeks old litter would be considered a "red flag".  It is our opinion based upon our experience in breeding litters, that this is very irresponsible advice to the prospective puppy buyer and does not consider the welfare of the dam or the puppies.  Until the puppies receive their first immunization vaccine (6 wks), their immunity to any diseases is totally dependent on what they received from the initial milk within the first hours of life called colostrum.  It is not uncommon for responsible breeders to wait until puppies have received their first set of shots before allowing buyers to physically handle the puppies.  Would you let a total stranger handle your new born?  Of course not, you'd wait until you got to know the person or family.  The welfare of the puppies should be more important to the responsible breeder than the sale of any puppies to prospective buyers.  Honesty and integreity are the two most important attributes you must look for in an Australian Shepherd breeder.

Our Australian Shepherd breeding program is of the utmost importance to us.  Our litters are planned according to what we are looking to produce, as we breed primarily for ourself and do not breed to fulfill the public demand for Australian Shepherd puppies.

We are so fortunate to have met some wonderful people through our breedings.  We form close bonds with many of my puppy families and look forward to your correspondence over the years.  We are so very blessed that our Aussies have given us the opportunity to have met such wonderful people that are now in our life and we look forward to meeting new families such as yours.
